The landscape
Malasiqui covers approximately 131 square kilometres. Its northern, western and central areas are predominantly level plains; the east becomes gently rolling, while the southeast includes lower land near the Agno River.
Water and agriculture
The Ingalera River, local creeks and irrigation systems help sustain arable land. Rice, corn, vegetables, mangoes, poultry and livestock are closely connected to the municipality’s terrain and water supply.
