Ownership and site documents
- Registered owner: certified true copy of the transfer certificate of title and a certified current tax declaration.
- Non-registered owner: notarized lease, deed of absolute sale, contract to sell or written owner consent, as applicable.
- Barangay clearance, zoning or locational clearance and Fire Safety Evaluation Clearance.
- Clearances from other agencies or adjoining-owner consent when the project requires them.
Plans and professional documents
- Five sets of building plans, specifications and bill of materials.
- Architectural or civil/structural plans signed and sealed by the appropriate licensed professional.
- Sanitary or plumbing plans signed and sealed by a sanitary engineer or master plumber.
- Electrical and mechanical plans signed and sealed by the corresponding professional when those systems are included.
Application path
- Complete the building, electrical, sanitary and other applicable permit forms.
- Submit the complete plan set and ownership documents for initial checking.
- Secure locational, fire and any project-specific clearances.
- Receive the official assessment, pay at the authorized counter and present the receipt for permit processing.
- Do not begin work until the building permit has been issued.
