Prepare the documents that apply to your ownership type and place of business.
- DTI registration for a sole proprietorship, or SEC registration for a corporation — two photocopies.
- Barangay clearance — two photocopies.
- Cooperative Development Authority registration, when applicable — two photocopies.
- Occupancy permit from the Municipal Engineering Office.
- Zoning clearance from the Municipal Planning and Development Office.
- Lease contract if the business premises are rented — one photocopy.
- Sanitary clearance; food handlers also need health certificates — two photocopies.
- Fire Safety Inspection Certificate — two photocopies.
- Market Supervisor clearance when located in the public market — one photocopy.
- SSS clearance — two photocopies.
Permit renewal
Renewals use a shorter checklist, but clearances must be current.
- Current sanitary clearance and barangay clearance.
- Current Fire Safety Inspection Certificate.
- Market Supervisor clearance if operating in the public market.
- Occupancy permit and zoning clearance.
- Current SSS clearance.
What happens at the counter
- Get and complete the application form, then submit the required documents for checking.
- Receive the assessment and pay only at the authorized payment counter.
- Present proof of payment and collect the permit, plate and sticker when released.
The published service guide estimates 15–45 minutes for document intake, about 5 minutes for payment, and about 5 minutes for release once the application is complete. Fees depend on the official assessment.
