A resident-friendly checklist for property declarations, reassessment requests and certified copies held by the Municipal Assessor.

Property declaration and reassessment

  • Updated land tax payment record.
  • Certified copy of the title when the property is titled.
  • Certificate Authorizing Registration from the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
  • Applicable deed of conveyance, including sale, extrajudicial settlement, donation, self-adjudication or quitclaim.
  • Community tax certificate and proof of sales or transfer tax.
  • Written request for reassessment.
  • Photocopy of the building permit when a structure is involved.

Certified true copy

Bring identifying property details and the supporting ownership and tax documents needed to locate and validate the record.

  • Latest tax declaration or sufficient property identification.
  • Updated real property tax payment record.
  • Valid identification and authorization when requesting for another person.

Typical counter flow

  1. Submit the request for verification and preparation of the property record.
  2. Pay assessed real property tax and certification fees at the authorized counter.
  3. Return with the official receipt and receive the signed declaration or vicinity map.
